Product parameter

Different from reducing resin cost to improve film performance and appearance, co-extrusion has many advantages such as the tensile Strength of the film is improved and heating sealability and printability are improved, Resin costs can be reduced by recycling or reprocessing the inner film layer, Different colors of resin can be used to produce a two-tone film.
SMF's Cast film line offer multiple choice, such as 2 layer, 3 layer or 5 layers film co-extrusion. The layer number of Co-extrusion can be selected according to the market demand.

3-layer feedblock with three extruders is standard for the production of CPP film, but there is also market demand for structures with five layers and four respectively five extruders.
In order to achieve better performance in terms of the individual layer distribution, multi-manifold laminating dies are sometimes recommended for the structures using polymers with large differences in melt viscosity or processing temperature.

1. What will be QC test that needs to be done. Can you suggest any QC instruments.
Re: CPP film with good flowability than CPE Film, and CPE Film with big pressure for extruding compare as CPP film. We can design machine according to CPE technical specifications taking into account CPP production, but the cost of manufacture will be very high.?

2. Is there difference in output in 3 layer compared to 5 layer. What is the difference in 3layer and 5 layer.
Re: The output are same. Quality of 5 layer is better than 3 layer.?

3. What will be QC test that needs to be done. Can you suggest any QC instruments.
RE: Detection equipment: Fog detector, Heat sealing apparatus, Thickness gauge, Tensile tester, Friction coefficient tester, Vanceometer, Falling dart impact tester, Pendulum bob, Electronic scale, Manual thickness gauge.

3. Apart from CPP / CPE what other kind of films can be produced on this machine? Is there any other speciality film we can produce on this machine?
Re: Only for producing CPP film or CPE film, no other

4. Is this film breathable? If not than can we make breathable film also?
Re: Breathable film production line is completely different from this machine line, with big difference. CPP Machine Can not make breathable film.

5. Can we do metalizing on this film? What special care needs to be taken if we want to metalized this film? Do you make metalizes also?
Re: Ok. CPP Metalizing is easy, CPE Metalizing is difficult, seldom people do CPE Metalizing in the market.

6. The CPP / CPE film can this be used for any other application other than flexible packaging?
Re: It can produce RETORT Level CPP film, Metalized CPP film, special CPP film and so on. It is widely used for Packaging, construction materials , food, Pharmaceuticals, electronic components, agricultural chemical.
